Daily Plan
Each day children will have opportunities to experience learning in a variety of ways. They will work in large and small groups, have one-on-one interaction with classmates and have individual attention from staff members. The following routine provides a framework for daily activities within the childcare programs.
- Apple Tree Landing Family Education Centre opens at 7:30am
- Free Play
- Open Snack
- Circle
- Outdoor Play
- Lunch
- Quiet Time/Rest
- Table Top Activities
- Free Play
- School Age children are picked up/Group Meeting
- Open Snack
- Outdoor Play
- Apple Tree Landing Family Education Centre closes at 5:30pm
Please Note: There is an effort to keep the activities for the older children separate from those for the younger children; however, at times some of the older children like to “help” with the younger children by reading to them or playing one-on-one. We see this as a positive opportunity for both age groups and hope you agree with us. Please do not hesitate to raise any concerns you might have.
